Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant- Macapagal Ave. Pasay

Golden Bay is the seafood restaurant with a colorful facade of LED lights along Macapagal Ave. in Pasay.

I've been there three times and I must say that the restaurant is really grand and exquisite. The interiors exude elegance with its fine golden accents and spacious dining area. They also have flat screen TVs that are hung on the walls for some customer entertainment.

We had our dinner here with my family and D last Friday night using 3 ensogo vouchers I purchased. We had to split tables since there is a maximum of 2 vouchers per table policy.

Each voucher includes a glass of Iced Tea which was served together with the complimentary appetizers.

We started to order some dimsum which the waiter informed us that we can no longer avail their 50% promo. We said ok but later realized that we should have ordered for their ala carte menu instead since we can always go there to avail their 50% on dimsum promo anytime.

Oh well..

We ordered for our favorite dimsums:  Hakaw (P128), Siomai (P128) and Taro Puff (P128).

Everything was a hit! The hakaw was fresh and there were around 4 plump small shrimps inside. The siomai also has shrimp bits on it made with pure meat and tasted authentic. The taro puff came in 3 big pieces of taro  with a crunchy layer of coating and served with a sauce to complement the flavors.

Then we also got a small order of Poached Vegetable with Assorted Egg (P320) which I got to try from Causeway in Banawe and found it really good.

Funny cause the other table where my parents and siblings were seated also ordered the exact same dishes that we got. That's what you call Family Ties.. haha! :)

They also ordered for the Crystal Spinach Dumpling (P128)

A small order of Spinach and Seafood Soup (P420) which was exactly good for 4 people, so we weren't able to get a bowl :(

Deep Fried Cuttlefish w/ Salt & Pepper (P360)- was tender and chewy

Hot Prawn Salad (P600)

 Roasted Pigeon

While talking pictures of the food, this lovely little girl came up to me and posed for some photos. After some shots, she excitedly viewed her pictures from the camera. :)

After our sumptuous dinner, we were surprised to get a bowl of Mango Sago (P90) each. We thought that it was included in the voucher but turns out it was given by our friend from highschool.

Thanks Kester! :)

Will be back to avail their 50% off dimsum promo soon.
